Ananya Panday & Vedang Raina to share screen space in Imtiaz Ali’s next? Here’s what we know

Star kids Ananya Panday and Vedang Raina will feature alongside each other in Imtiaz Ali’s next film. As per reports coming in, the ‘Ctrl’ actress and ‘ Jigra’ actor are likely to star in Ali’s upcoming romantic drama and below is all the details we have about it.

Ananya Panday & Vedang Raina to star in Imtiaz Ali’s next?

As per a recent Filmfare report, Ananya Panday and Vedang Raina are likely to play the lead roles in Imtiaz Ali’s next. The publication quoted source close to the project saying, “Both Vedang and Ananya have done auditions or looks tests for Imtiaz’s film. They are not finalised yet.” The insider added, “This is a big project and we believe there are other stars being considered as well. Some big names from Bollywood have been approached for this film.”

The source further noted that they’re confident Vedang and Ananya will eventually come together for this film. However, as of not, there has been no official announcement.

Besides this upcoming Imtiaz Ali film, reports of Ananya likely to star opposite Vicky Kaushal in the lead role in Gully Boy 2 also made the headlines. The same publication revealed, “Arjun Varain Singh, who directed Kho Gaye Hum Kahan for Excel and Tiger Baby, is slated to direct the Gully Boy sequel. He’s confident that Ananya, who was his heroine in Kho Gaye, will be the perfect girl to lead the project. Vicky has been attached to the sequel for a long time now. Let’s see if all these three artistes can come together to recreate the magic of Gully Boy.”
